Synopsis

May 2nd 2008, and we follow Jason as he journeys from Brighton to London to the spot where Justin Fashanu, the first and only openly gay footballer, committed suicide on May 2nd, 1998. The journey is interspersed with a heartfelt message from Jason to John Fashanu, Justin’s younger brother. In staging his own private vigil to remember Justin, Jason marks the start of a campaign, The Justin Campaign against homophobia in football.
